Bogie Hearth Furnace is a popular type of furnace. These Furnaces provides heating through Electrical heating elements or by fuel firing.

Electrical Heating

The Electrical heating elements of the furnace are suitably divided as per the heating zones. The heating elements are set up on the internal sidewalls of the furnace. The standard operating temperature extend between 250°C – 1150°C, it depends on process and applications such as tempering, annealing, normalizing, stress relieving, homogenizing etc.

Fuel Firing

All burners will be fitted with meters. This enables fuel and air flow rates to be monitored accurately and adjusted via variable orifice valves. These meters guarantee accurate air/fuel mixture ensuring continual economic operation.

The fuel supply is connected to our isolating valve.

All primary control equipment i.e. main isolating valve, fuel pumps and motors, filter, fuel meter, pressure gauges and motorized air valve plus the combustion air fan.

The system of Bogie Hearth Furnaces, is fitted with air pressure switches, the combustion air fan prove, which allows the system to commence a light up sequence or maintain the burners only if the fan is developing the required pressure. This is also an indication of the condition of the inlet filter. The air purge high and air low pressure switches are used during the ignition cycle to ensure the motorized valve is working. Enabling the gases in the combustion gallery to be exhausted prior to ignition and ensuring the valve is closed guaranteeing minimum flows of fuel/air during ignition. Each burner is automatically ignited by its own direct spark ignited LPG pilot burner. Flame monitoring is from the rear end of the burner by U.V. sensor.

The bogie is filled outside the furnace using crane where the bogie is entering the furnace. Before the bogie is moved by the operator, load is normally cooled down inside the furnace. Our furnaces are well equipped with unique sealing between hearth and bogie. We recommend these furnaces with Gas Fired.

We manufacture Bogie Hearth Furnace as well as Export in all over India and other countries too.
